WELCOME TO 2019
The Business Association hopes you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and an enjoyable and safe break.
Papakura is looking great with new planters in the Main Street, Bikes, Baskets and Flowers along the main street and our murals located around the town.
Our murals have been done by young and talented local artists from Papakura and associated with our Youth Innovation Hub – The Corner.
Pictured below are the three murals that have been done around town – one on the Countdown Wall at Roselands (done by Sam Evans ), One on the side of old Hells Pizza Building Wall by the Farmers Carpark (done by Marangai Nissen) and the fence opposite Stampede and in the Countdown Carpark (Done by Pascal Atiga Bridger-Wharepapa).
Check out the beautiful planters around town and our gorgeous Bikes, Baskets and Flowers all organised by the Business Association and Paula and Kurt Schultz with help from the Lions.
And our latest Mural done on the Canopius Wall in Elliot Street by five young artists being Marangai Nissen, Richard Kennedy-Walker, Jordan Tito, Pascal Atiga Bridger-Wharepapa and Sam Evans. Bright, bold, beautiful and colourful and worked on by all five artists – to create the full mural on the wall. We have some very talented people in town.
