A registered master builder, Andrew established Precision Homes six years ago, after learning his craft in Pukekohe and working for local builders.

The Precision Homes prize-winning house, featured in the glossy Master Builders' awards magazine, is a character home in Waiau Pa. The concept and overall design hark back to the classic villas and bungalows of the early 1900s where the owner spent many years growing up.

“A house is a house, but a home is special. Everyone wants their home to reflect their own character and choices and not just look the same as everyone else's.
“Faced with a bare interior, it can be quite a challenge for people to visualise how they would like their home to look. And there are so many little details to make decisions on, it can be quite overwhelming.”

Andrew has chased big game fish all around the world. Along with self-confessed 'water baby' Alisha, and of course Ava, they'll be off in a few months for a well earned rest to escape the New Zealand winter, fishing in Hawaii.
“Ninety per cent of what we catch is tagged and released,” says Andrew. “We want to ensure there will be fish for the future.”
