Celebrating Fashion Week in Papakura
We did a bit of a shout out and asked designers if they would like to dress a mannequin to celebrate Fashion week. We have got some lovely designs in the shop window next door to The Corner in O’Shannessey Street done by three fabulous designer. Make sure you have a look next time you are walking that way.
New Businesses in Papakura:
And we welcome All Dentures in Broadway, Ziggy Chan Dental in O’Shannessey Street, Community Law in Wood Street, Counties Manukau Alternative Education in the Selwyn Centre and Westforce have moved from O’Shannessey Street down to Roselands.
Local Board Elections:
Just a reminder that we have Local Board Elections coming up on the 12th of October. We have three groups standing for election in Papakura, Papakura Action Team, Papakura First Team and Papakura Labour. And we have five candidates for the Papakura Manurewa Councillors positions.
It is essential to vote for the party / people that you feel will represent Papakura well and support our town. Take the time to get some information on the parties or look them up on Facebook, websites or through the Local Board.
