Rhian and husband Ben are continuing with a tradition that all began in Pukekohe with Walter Wright, who after completing a watchmaking apprentice in England in the late 1800’s opened Wrights Jewellers in King Street, Pukekohe in 1912. The business has passed through four generations, with Walter's great-granddaughter Rhian and her husband Ben the current owners.
“The importance of family and being together is going to be even more important this year after the devastating effects of the global pandemic and the lockdowns. Despite all of the challenges of the pandemic, there have been some really beautiful stories come through of lockdown marriage proposals and we are delighted to have been able to play a very small part in making these happen,” says Rhian.
