Come Celebrate with the Team at Counties Honda!

with Counties Honda

If there is one thing that new Counties Honda franchise owner Brett Aspden revels in, it’s the opportunity to take something good and make it great.

Brett has an impressive background developing businesses and people and has identified the well-established local Counties Honda franchise as a great opportunity to service the community.

“The business is backed by the largest small engine manufacturer in the World. Honda is a well recognized, trusted brand and the shop at 19 Massey St has always been somewhat of a destination for farmers, lifestyle block owners and roadbike enthusiast”- says Brett.

That’s not to say that now that he has taken over the business things will be run the same. Regulars will know that although the store has been open, the team have been exceptionally busy over the last month undergoing a major refurbishment. They can’t wait to showcase the new look to the community with an open day on April 10th to showcase the new look.

Many facets of the business have been modernised like the new look customer lounge/cafe to the fitting of a new state of the art tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment. The dealership also now offers comprehensive Range of Honda Outdoor Power Equipment. They are introducing on site Vehicle Servicing to save time for customers providing both Farm Bike and Vehicle Servicing at the same time. From a company culture perspective it is important to note that the dealership operates a “no sales commission” philosophy thus generating absolute focus on guiding the customer to exploure the Honda range and find the right “Fit for Purpose”product and not be driven by the vagaries of sales based commissions.

Brett’s background as an A-grade technician, coupled with a Masters in Business Administration and senior management roles with NZ Automobile Association, DaimlerChrysler and Mitsubishi means he is the ideal man to head up a team of exceptional staff that are focused on providing the very best possible experience for every one that walks through the shop doors.

“I know that my team pride themselves on the best customer experience and have always done that. The next step is to make sure that we cater for that next level, whether it be a new lawnmower, water pump, motorbike or fixing of an existing one.”

Counties Honda offer a full on and off-site service maintenance and this will be strengthened with additional technicians ensuring the quickest possible turnaround for all automotive service requirements. A large range of quality tyres for all farm and road motorcycles, and a premium range specifically for our road bike enthusiast will also be available. They have also increased their stock holding of genuine Honda parts.

“I know that time is money especially on the farm or when you rely on your vehicle for your income. A day trip into town to get things fixed might be something to look forward to for the young ones, but when it means a day missed on the farm it is not so flash. At Counties Honda, our aim with our customer service goals, and our new improved facilities is to provide our customers a convenient, fast and cost effective one-stop-shop for all your automotive service requirements.”

The open day on April 10th is a chance for everyone to come and see the full array of what Honda represents and Brett promises that there will be great specials instore for the day across the range.

“We have secured some great deals as part of our open day, deals that are too good to miss…from giveaways to massive savings and exclusive finance deals… if you are in the market for a new unit or upgrade.

Guest appearances from Cody Cooper 9 time NZ MX champion and Mitch Rees current NZ1 Superbike champion will be at the dealership between 10-3pm on the 10th with their race bikes and ready to chat.
