Polocrosse, the fast paced, 6 player team game played with a ball and net, all while on horseback is coming to Counties Polocrosse Club 588 Glenbrook Rd, Karaka on the 16th and 17th March, 2019.
If you have never seen Polocrosse before this is your chance!
This event is not to be missed with the feature game each day at 1pm being a test match between the New Zealand and the Australian world cup sides, their last hit out before heading to Warwick Australia in mid-April to compete for the Adina Polocrosse World Cup.
The entertainment starts each day at 9:30am with a curtain raiser, where the best under 21’s in the country compete against each other for the “Under 21’s Challenge Trophy”.
From there the excitement starts to build with four High Goal teams containing one overseas wildcard player, going head to head in two games on Saturday to determine who will play for the Lucky Horse Shoe trophy and the Andrew Fowler High Goal Cup on Sunday. (Games to begin at 10:30 and 11:40 each day).
